Music became a huge part of my existence around 1986 in a town called New Paltz, NY. It was a town of good times, art, music and free expression. New Paltz was located in the shadows of the legend known as Woodstock, which was just up the Thruway. I hung around with a rowdy crew via the Pi Alpha Nu fraternity. It was my time to rage and they helped me set the stage for the time of my life. It was a place and a time for me to explore and exploit all of my musical influences such as The Who, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, the list goes on! I formed a band called "Rare Form" and began expressing myself as a singer, guitarist and songwriter. Performing at all the local bars, fraternity and sorority parties we became popular overnight as more and more people started showed up at our gigs and became part of our own scene. These people became our friends our fans and our purpose for being. It wasn't hard to figure out why I loved music so much or why I became so dedicated. It just became a matter of fact to anyone who really ever knew me.
Well our scene didn't hold up and I ended up moving back to my hometown of Farmingdale, NY on Long Island. I was coming off the biggest high of my life and crashed hard. It was a place that had nothing for me musically and I struggled for a couple of years only to drift in and out of some mediocre cover bands. Finally I got up enough guts and moved into New York City to find a band that could help plug into the local circuit and showcase some new original material I had been writing. I ended up answering an ad placed by "Full Moon Access, Singer Wanted". I was intrigued by their original brand of music and together we proved to be an interesting blend, so it became a marriage.

We embarked on a wild ride performing the local Bleecker street clubs and exposing audiences to our new brand of music. It seemed clear that we would be together for a long time, however the center didn't hold and we went through several incarnations only to become what we are today.
It seems as though the road I'm travelling has been beaten by thousands before me and will continue to be traveled by all who marvel at the sight of the stage, the power of a guitar and the mayhem in a lyric. But none the less, it's a road that's clear and it's a place where I find my solace, my validation, my sanity...
