I cannot speak highly enough of you guys!
And thanks for promoting WWEC on your web site!
Maybe you remember me, I'm one of the guys involved in the WWEC benefit concert.
I just have to see you guys again. I always miss you... like at the Blue Terrapin, the Blue Star... My friends Chris and Dan said you were great at the Blue Star. Well, I'll catch up with you soon, I hope. I'll be studying at the University of Delaware in the fall. Ever think of playing the Stone Ballon in Newark, Delaware?
Thanks for whupping so much ass...
Mark Powell from Elizabethtown, PA

Great show last night. You guys are very tight as a group. Light years ahead of most bands I have seen around town. I wish it wasn't St. Pats and had heard more of your original stuff. Thanks.

Hello,
My friends and I saw you at the Rhinecliff Hotel this past Saturday. We were the screamers. We all really enjoyed the music, perfect for dancing. I was wondering if you could send me a list of where you'll be playing in the upcoming month or so. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the C.D. its an excellent display of musicianship and emotion. I can't wait to that same energy performed tonight @ the Terrapin. I from Philadelphia so maybe I'll se if I can drop by one of your shows. Also the question I asked wasn't the one I had in mind (I didn't know I had to ask a question, I thought I just had to fill in the blank.) But have you had a hard time establishing yourselves as a "groove playing" band in a time where all people want to hear is "alternative" and dance and the like.
Chris Ashworth from Elizabethtown, PA

Steve: I'm working at home today and Bob is working on third shift. When he
got up today (around 1:00P) he had me go into your web site. That's where
we sent you the email from. He has listened to your CD 3-4 times while
working third shift. I'm listening to the last song as we speak. I really
really enjoy it! ONE IN A MILLION made me cry and KICK THE CAN made me
laugh. Can't believe how professional it sounds! We also have Mike's CD
MOSAIC BLUE here also. Matt Shuker and BREECH are finishing up their CD as
well. I must say, however, your CD is so tight! Bob really likes the
lyrics. They remind him of his style (writing from experiences). I have to
say I listen to the voices (would you expect anything else)? Your lead
singers voice is "dreamy". A tad like the guy in Philly you and Mercer
where playing with, but softer and more clean.
Betsy
10.22.98
Steve: Your snare and high hat are still as sharp as ever! ONE IN A MILLION is ready for the air (it reminded me of a Lenny Kravitz tune) All the songs are very good. My top picks are: MAKE YOU MINE, ALTERED EYES, ROOFTOP (very good!), KICK THE CAN(kick ass drummin') and OVERLAKE. Keep us informed! And congrats on the new baby! ROCK AND ROLL, BABY!
Bob and Betsy

I and my friend Collin Watson, were more than delighted to enjoy your great Performance ,at the bitter end this Summer. The date escapes me as many things interviene,as could be expected. You all are on to something.
Good luck, I hope to catch the date for New Year's @ Elbow Room , if in Connecticut at that time. Wish you all the best in your noble efforts!

I have seen the band quite a few times, and they are getting better and better. They put on a very tight and enjoyable show. All the work in the studio really paid off. The songs are solid and the shows are great. I urge all friends and fans to attend as many shows as possible. The band really seems to feed off of a big and excited crowd. I see big things on the horizon. Come out and see for yourself.
Chris Cordone of NY

Anytime before that I've gone to see a friend's band play, I've always been able to tell myself who they remind me of. After seeing you guys play twice and listening to the CD a number times, I can honestly say that you don't sound like anybody. Finally a band that's not worried about cashing in on the sound of the times and instead, chooses to give themselves their own identity. As for the show, what most impressed me was the way you were able to blend in from one song to another without missing a beat. Your instrumetals always seemed to compliment the following song and you didn't waste anybody's time with any particular lengthy solos. I particularly enjoyed the way you were able to blend your opening jam into Make You Mine. Other of the more enjoyable tunes of the evening were Nothing in which each member of Wooster Sang was able to contribute his own instrumental and vocal blend into one giant harmonious high and Altered Eyes where the Band displayed an even hybrid of late Beatles and Oasis. As a matter of fact, if Zund ever decides to display his overbearing obnoxious side (on stage that is) we may be looking at NYC's version of Peter Gallagher. All in all an enjoyable evening of good listening music at The Lions Den on July 23. The only thing you guys are missing are a few thousand groupies! All in Time Fellas!!! See You All In Jersey.

For those who haven't had the opportunity to see Wooster Sang live, I encourage you to find the time; the band is simply put, "kick ass"! Steve DeLuca is a "bad mutha F#*@ka" on the drums. The band sounds as good if not better live than they do on their CD. Do yourself a favor and get their CD and really listen to it, particularly my favorite songs, no.'s 3,5,8 and 11 on the CD.

hello,
My name is Amanda. My father just recently brought home your cd from work, and asked me listen to it so I could tell him what I think. Well, I listened to it, and your CD is very good. The music is just right for teenagers that aren't interested in Rap, Pop, etc.! I listen to your CD very often and I just wanted to tell all of you that I like it very much, and I have told all my friends about you, so now they are listening to your music too!! So, I guess you can say that your a new hit in my school!
Thank you very much,
Amanda
Ps- I am from New Jersey and I attend a Middle School. (I am going into 8th grade)

Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, Debussy, Stravinsky, Shostakovitch, Holliday, Armstrong, Ellington, Miles, Coltrane, Hendrix, Beatles, Zeppelin...Wooster Sang. I been in this country for short while. I love all kind of music. From what I tell of music, and you must be realizing that until recently I was limited due to Soviet union, you arew next in this great list. I listen to clips and see two shows and I feel this way.
Good luck, Fyodor from Brooklyn by way of Petrograd.

I work with Racine at BarneandNoble.com and I think he should quit his job.. Wooster Sang had everyone in the joint moving. I have not had that much fun seeing a live band since I saw pearl jam at Randalls Island in the pooring rain. I am going to try and catch them at Kenny Castaway tonight. They played such a great mix of music but still were able to maintain a very strong rock underlying theme.
John Rosano from NYC

It was really fun to see you doing what you used to do full time before
I met you. And I'm glad you didn't suck!
I'm sorry I didn't get to stay longer, but I had been consuming wine for hours before I arrived,
and I really had to get home.
But I will be sure to send in a blurb for your site!
John Jennings from NYC

Their first show in 6 months? Last night, Wooster Sang's performance sounded so tight! After the first song that night, they continued to grow collectively closer as a band and we watched, grooving along with them...
With special appearance by Daniel Palmer and his misty harp playing, their talents just took off...
Keep us updated on the release on the CD!!!
Great show - good music :)
Howard Offenhutter from NYC

I haven't heard their CDs, but they are a great live band! It's so easy to get into their music because it's great and they have so much fun playing that the audience definitely does!

Wow, what a site. My complements to Racine who deserves a lot of credit for creating such a dynamic and engaging web site. It is not often that a site embodies so much of the character of the people who it represents.
You should be proud.
Stay in touch. I would really like to get together.
Later.

curious to know what comes out the other side.
Hi Racine,
I was surfing the site. Looks very good, but after B&N I would expect no less :). The shockwave sounds a little tinny at this end but that may have to do with the club recording. When will the CD be released?
Take Care,
Paul & Terri Schlagheck
